Permanent (re)marks
Permanent (Re)Marks, a collaboration by Artist Austin England with Thingmade and Fernet-Branca, deftly blends the vocabulary of "classical” bartending and tattooing subcultures into the present.
Comprised of fine art prints, apparel, accessories, neon signage, and flash tattoo sheets, Permanent (Re)Marks will be available for purchase from July 22nd through 26th in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District. Along with fellow artists Mike Burns and Casey Wayne, Austin will be putting his art onto the permanent collections of a handful of lucky visitors to the Eyeknow Emporium of Skin Art & Curious Curios.
Austin England is a working artist and tattooer based in Los Angeles, CA. He operates out of his private tattoo studio, art gallery and creative hub, LOWKEY, located in the heart of Silver Lake. When he’s not curating art shows or drawing for his clients, Austin is drafting up glass patterns for his custom-made neon sign fabrication business.
